Marwan Ali

Marwan Ali is the Internal Security Commander of the Syrian Army, known for his role in coordinating security operations in northeastern Syria, particularly in areas contested by various factions such as the YPG. Recently, he was in the news for requesting that journalists limit their presence during an announcement related to the Syrian government's entry into the city of Hasakeh as part of an agreement with the YPG.
