Mary Andreina Farías

Mary Andreina Farías was a 31-year-old Venezuelan woman who tragically lost her life in San Bartolo after confronting two technicians from PC Telecom, who were alleged to have assaulted her. Known for her dedication to her family, Farías had been living in Peru for eight years, working tirelessly to provide for her five children and mother back in Venezuela. Her desperate cries for help on the night of May 14, 2023, were heard by neighbors, but the response was tragically insufficient. She was ultimately struck and killed by the vehicle of the suspects as they fled the scene, prompting an ongoing investigation into her death and the circumstances surrounding it.
