Mary Christopoulou was a vibrant 77-year-old woman known for her active lifestyle and independence. Living in Pharos Psychikou, she frequently traveled to central Athens using public transport, refusing to rely on others for her errands. A devoted mother, she was engaged in various social activities, including gym workouts and dance classes. On the morning of November 3, 2023, she was tragically struck by a car while crossing a street in Athens, resulting in severe injuries that led to her untimely death. Her passing has sparked outrage and highlighted the need for stricter traffic regulations in the city.
