
Matata Ponyo
Matata Ponyo is a prominent Congolese politician and member of the opposition coalition known as Article 64 for constitutional order (C64). He has served in various governmental roles, including as the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2012 to 2014. Recently, he was in the news following an attack on the procession of Martin Fayulu, where he, along with other opposition leaders, reiterated their demands for political dialogue while insisting on the abandonment of a controversial constitutional change proposed by President Félix Tshisekedi.
