Mateo Quintavalle

Mateo Quintavalle was a controversial figure in Costa Rican football, known for his attempts to purchase various clubs and his involvement in multiple scandals, including allegations of fraud and money laundering. He was investigated by the Public Ministry for supposed crimes related to these allegations and faced provisional detention in 2007, but passed away in 2014 before the cases could be adjudicated.
