Mathew Maimu

Mathew Maimu is a retired judge and the Chairperson of the Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRAGG) in Tanzania. He has been a prominent advocate for human rights and governance issues in the country, often speaking out against violations and urging for accountability and justice. Maimu gained attention for his strong condemnation of the alleged abduction of former Tanzanian Ambassador Humphrey Polepole, calling it a violation of human rights and a threat to national stability.
