Mathias Parsbæk Skibdal

Mathias Parsbæk Skibdal is the director of the Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD). He has been instrumental in developing the People Dialogue Festival in Kenya, working collaboratively with Kenyan partners to adapt the successful elements of Denmark's Folkemoede to the local context. Skibdal's focus is on strengthening political conversations and ensuring that citizens' voices are heard in the democratic process, particularly in light of recent youth protests in Kenya that highlighted a disconnect between the government and the younger generation.
