Mathias Spaliviero

Mathias Spaliviero is the Head of UN-Habitat’s West Africa Sub-Regional Hub, known for his expertise in urban development and spatial planning. He recently gained attention for his role in a collaborative project with the Government of The Gambia, aimed at advancing urban policies and strategies through a Memorandum of Understanding. Spaliviero was instrumental in a workshop that trained government officials on spatial analysis tools, marking a significant step towards the development of The Gambia's first-ever Spatial Development Framework.
