Mati Tsarfati

Mati Tsarfati, a 48-year-old police officer from Israel, was severely injured during a firefight while serving as the operations officer at the police station in Sderot. Despite sustaining life-threatening injuries from sniper fire, he has shown immense resilience in his recovery, undergoing multiple surgeries and a long rehabilitation process. Tsarfati is dedicated to honoring the memory of his fallen comrades and is determined to return to physical fitness.
