Matías Agustín Carrizo

Matías Agustín Carrizo, a 23-year-old resident of affluent neighborhoods in the West of Greater Buenos Aires, has gained notoriety as the leader of a motorcycle theft gang. He was recently arrested in connection with the murder of Juan Marcelo Sanabria, a 25-year-old motorcyclist who died after being pursued by Carrizo and his accomplices in February. The police investigation revealed that the suspects, despite their privileged backgrounds, resorted to armed robbery, targeting motorcycles in a violent trend known as 'motochorros.'
