Matiass Pinčers
Matiass Pinčers, born in 1971, is a prominent composer, conductor, and educator known for his significant contributions to contemporary music. He led the Ensemble intercontemporain in Paris for a decade and currently serves as the musical director of the Kansas City Symphony and creative partner with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. A professor of composition at the Juilliard School since 2014, Pinčers has composed notable works, including his latest opera 'Aukstā sirds,' which premiered in Berlin in January 2023.
