Matt Carney was a Nashville restaurant owner and the proprietor of Smokin' Thighs, who tragically lost his life on July 4, 2024, after confronting a man stealing from his pickup truck. He suffered critical injuries when he was struck by the fleeing vehicle of Ulises Raigoza-Martinez.
