Matt Kolakowski

Matt Kolakowski, also a former Marine, was recognized for his courageous intervention during a stabbing attack at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan. He charged at the attacker with a shopping cart, helping to subdue him until law enforcement could take control of the situation, demonstrating extraordinary bravery in the face of danger.
