Matthew Nichols

Matthew Nichols is the alligator management program coordinator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). He has been actively involved in initiatives aimed at educating the public about alligator safety, particularly in light of increasing interactions between humans and alligators due to Florida's growing population. Recently, he announced a partnership with GatorWise, a new public awareness campaign designed to promote safe practices around alligators and reduce the risk of attacks, especially during the summer months when alligator activity is heightened.
