Maurizio Ceneri

Maurizio Ceneri is a former executive at Spea, the engineering company responsible for monitoring the safety of infrastructure under the management of Autostrade per l'Italia. He is currently facing serious legal repercussions, including a potential 13-year prison sentence, for his role in the Ponte Morandi disaster, where he is accused of failing to ensure the safety of the bridge that collapsed in 2018, resulting in the tragic loss of 43 lives.
