Mavuto Chintengo is the chairman of procurement for the Blantyre Water Board (BWB) in Malawi. He was in the news due to the controversy surrounding a halted tender process, where several bidders alleged a lack of communication and procedural flaws after the board abruptly canceled the bid opening on the scheduled date.
