Max Chamas

Max Chamas, a retired individual with a troubled past, was implicated in the unsolved murder of Daniel Garcia. Known for his criminal history, including prior convictions for violent offenses, he became the prime suspect following the discovery of Garcia's body. Despite being arrested and facing trial, Chamas maintained his innocence and was ultimately acquitted in 2012, having spent significant time in custody. He passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 80.
