Maxim Iuhnevici is a talented Moldovan athlete recognized for his achievements in the sport of sambo, particularly in beach sambo. Hailing from Bălți, he recently made headlines by winning a bronze medal at the World Beach Sambo Championship held in Caraguatatuba, Brazil, where he competed against approximately 75 athletes from 24 countries. As the only representative from Moldova, Iuhnevici showcased his skills by ultimately defeating Costa Rican competitor Esteban Brenes to secure his place on the podium in the under 88 kg category.
