Maxime Eko Eko

Maxime Eko Eko is a Cameroonian police officer who previously served as the head of the Direction Générale de la Recherche Extérieure (DGRE). He is currently incarcerated in Yaoundé in connection with the assassination of journalist Martinez Zogo. His legal team has recently issued statements rejecting claims made by Sani Mouhamadou regarding his alleged involvement with the DGRE in 2020, asserting that Mouhamadou's outreach was unsolicited and lacking in credibility.
