Máximo Pahlke
Máximo Pahlke was a German businessman who, in the late 1930s, moved to Argentina seeking medical treatment for his children. Inspired by his family's improved health, he invested approximately $25 million to establish the Gran Hotel Viena in Miramar, Córdoba, which opened in 1942. The hotel became notorious for its luxurious amenities and mysterious history, including rumors of connections to Adolf Hitler and Juan Domingo Perón.
