Mayama Sesay

Mayama Sesay, known by her alias 'Black Diamond', is a former rebel leader from Liberia who gained notoriety during the Liberian Civil War (1999-2003) as the head of the female artillery command for the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD). Recently, she made headlines after being expelled from the United States, where she had lived since 2014, due to allegations of misrepresenting her past during immigration interviews.
