Maydad Ronen

Maydad Ronen is a former professional boxer originally from Rotorua, New Zealand, who has gained recognition for his achievements in the sport, including his recent induction into the World Masters WBF Boxing Hall of Fame. After moving to Bondi Beach, Australia in 2004, he became a part of the vibrant local community. Ronen was in the news following a tragic terrorist attack near his home during a Hanukkah festival, where he expressed his shock and sadness over the violence that disrupted what is typically a time of joy and celebration for the Jewish community.
