Mbayan Njie

Mbayan Njie is the Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture in The Gambia, known for her advocacy in agricultural policies and her role in addressing food security issues. Recently, she commended the validation seminar for The Gambia’s National Strategy for the eradication of Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), highlighting the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to combat this viral disease affecting small ruminants and the livelihoods of farmers.
