Md Al Mamun

Md Al Mamun is a Bangladeshi agricultural worker who has been living in Odemira, Portugal, for nearly a decade. He participated in a recent protest alongside around 100 immigrants, advocating against government policies that he believes exploit workers and place them at the mercy of criminal organizations. Despite his struggles with the Portuguese language, he expresses his frustrations regarding the lengthy waiting period for his nationality application, which has been pending for 28 months. He arrived in Portugal with aspirations for a better life for his family, which now includes his son, Abdullah, who was born in Portugal.
