Mehiboob Mujawar

Mehiboob Mujawar is a retired police officer who served in the Maharashtra Anti-terrorism Squad (ATS) and was involved in the investigation of the 2008 Malegaon blast case. Recently, he made headlines by alleging that he was pressured to arrest prominent figures, including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, to support the narrative of 'saffron terror' in the investigation. Mujawar claimed that he received orders that he found 'horrific' and ultimately refuted, which he stated led to a false case being registered against him and adversely affected his long career in law enforcement.
