Mehrunissa

Mehrunissa, a 69-year-old woman, is the mother of Fahim Khan, the prime accused in the recent Nagpur riots. She was in the news for filing a petition with the Bombay High Court to halt the demolition of her home, arguing that the actions of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation were arbitrary and violated Supreme Court guidelines.
