Meir Shitrit

Meir Shitrit is an Israeli politician and former mayor of Yavne, known for his role in the establishment of cable television infrastructure in Israel during the late 1980s. He was instrumental in introducing South American telenovelas to the Israeli audience, which significantly changed the landscape of entertainment in the country.
