Melanie Clark Pullen was an Irish actress best known for her role as Mary in EastEnders, where she appeared from 1994 to 1996. Born in Bray, Co Wicklow, she gained fame as part of the show but struggled with the pressures of sudden stardom, leading to feelings of isolation and anxiety. After leaving EastEnders, Pullen continued her acting career, engaging in writing and directing, but sadly passed away from a brain tumor in March 2022 at the age of 46.
