Melanie McGuire
Melanie McGuire is a former nurse from New Jersey who gained notoriety for the murder of her husband, William McGuire, in 2004. She was convicted in 2007 of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison after prosecutors argued that she used her medical knowledge to plan and execute the crime, which involved dismembering his body and disposing of it in suitcases in the Chesapeake Bay.
