Melina Ferrero

Melina Ferrero is a former Argentine tennis player who faced severe consequences for her involvement in match-fixing. Once ranked as high as 731st in the WTA rankings in May 2015, Ferrero was suspended for three years by the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program after being found guilty of manipulating match results in 2017 and 2018. Her suspension, confirmed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, bars her from participating in any professional tennis events until July 2027. Following her tennis career, she shifted her focus to her university studies.
