Melissa Castillo

Melissa Castillo is a violinist and primary school teacher who founded the musical choir ArteSí in July 2017. Her work focuses on empowering children, particularly those facing language and communication challenges, through music. She has played a pivotal role in the development and confidence-building of her students, including Alicia, a girl who, after years of silence due to a speech disorder, found her voice through singing. Castillo's approach integrates cognitive, artistic, and emotional support, making her a crucial figure in the lives of the children she teaches.
