Melissa de Almeida Araújo

Melissa de Almeida Araújo was a psychologist at the Federal Penitentiary in Catanduvas, Brazil. She gained media attention posthumously after being tragically murdered in 2017, allegedly due to her professional role in evaluating high-risk inmates. Her death was linked to a series of orders given by Roberto Soriano, known as Tiriça, who was convicted for her murder and is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence.
