Melvin Peña

Melvin Peña is an engineer at the Dirección de Operaciones y Mantenimiento Vial of the Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC) in the Dominican Republic. He has recently been involved in addressing the long-standing community concerns regarding the construction of a bridge connecting the Palma Real sector to Los Girasoles, which has been delayed for over twelve years. Peña has emphasized the importance of first sanitizing the San Miguel ravine, which has accumulated significant debris and waste, contributing to local flooding and public health issues.
