Mervyn Bennun
Mervyn Bennun is a veteran activist and former advocate, who was involved in anti-apartheid efforts as a member of the Congress of Democrats and the ANC. After studying law and earning an LLM, he lectured at Exeter University before returning to South Africa in 2000. Bennun, who resigned from the ANC at the age of 86 in June 2022, is also a member of South African Jews for a Free Palestine (SAJFP).
