Metropolitan Alexander

Metropolitan Alexander is the head of the Astana and Kazakhstan Orthodox Church. He is recognized for his significant contributions to promoting traditional and family values, fostering the upbringing of the younger generation, and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. Recently, he was awarded the 'Dostyk' I degree order by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in recognition of his 15 years of service in Kazakhstan and his efforts in strengthening peace and harmony within society.
