Miatta Garmai Darwolor

Miatta Garmai Darwolor is the Executive Director of SisterAid Liberia, an organization advocating for women's rights and protection against harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Recently, she has been in the news for her active role in presenting a petition to the National Legislature, calling for the passage of the Women and Girls Protection Act of 2025, which aims to criminalize FGM in Liberia.
