Micha'el Azband

Dr. Micha'el Azband is a senior lecturer in the Department of Land of Israel Studies at Kinneret Academic College and a researcher at the Zinman Institute of Archaeology at the University of Haifa. His recent archaeological work in the Yehudiya Nature Reserve has led to the discovery of a 1,500-year-old synagogue, contributing significantly to the understanding of Jewish settlement in the Golan Heights.
