Micha'el Mordechai Nachmani was a 26-year-old reservist from Dimona, serving as a combat engineer in the 614th Engineering Battalion of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He tragically lost his life due to sniper fire from Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip during an operation amid the ongoing conflict. Micha'el was the only son among four sisters and worked at the Dead Sea Works prior to his service. His death has deeply affected his hometown, with local leaders expressing their condolences and mourning the loss of a brave soldier.
