Michael Blanpied

Michael Blanpied is a geophysicist and the coordinator of the Earthquake Hazards Program at the United States Geological Survey (USGS). He is known for his expertise in seismic hazards and the study of tectonic plate boundaries, particularly in relation to the Pacific Ring of Fire, where some of the world's most significant earthquakes and volcanic activity occur.
