Michael Enoch, also known as King Enoch, was a renowned saxophonist who made significant contributions to the Tanzanian music scene, particularly in the 1960s with the Dar International Orchestra and Mlimani Park Orchestra. Originally from Zambia, he was brought to Tanzania by the famous politician John Mwakangale, and his unique style of playing guitar in the Dar Jazz band set a standard that has yet to be matched.
