Michael Geilenfeld

Michael Geilenfeld, the founder of St Joseph's Home for Boys in Haiti, was recently convicted in a Miami court for sexually abusing minors at his orphanage. At 73 years old, Geilenfeld faces significant prison time following a jury's decision on multiple counts of illicit sexual conduct with boys who were between 9 and 13 years old during the abuse. His orphanage, established in 1985, was closed in 2014 amid growing allegations of misconduct, which have yet to be fully addressed in Haiti.
