Michael Molloy

Michael Molloy, a 25-year-old college student from Gorey, Co Wexford, was convicted of raping a 20-year-old woman in a laneway in November 2021 and sentenced to five years in prison. Despite maintaining his innocence, Molloy's actions were deemed a serious violation of consent, leading to significant psychological trauma for the victim.
