Michael Mostyn

Michael Mostyn was the CEO of B’nai Brith Canada from 2014 until his passing in 2024. A fierce advocate against antisemitism, Mostyn devoted his life to protecting vulnerable communities and promoting social cohesion. His dedication to fighting hate was rooted in personal experiences with bullying and antisemitism during his youth. Under his leadership, B’nai Brith engaged in numerous initiatives, including advocacy for victims of hate crimes and collaboration with various minority communities. Mostyn's commitment to justice earned him several accolades, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. He passed away at the age of 50 after a year-long battle with cancer.
