Michael Roch

Michael Roch is a science fiction author born in Lyon in 1987, currently residing in Martinique. He gained recognition with his novel 'Moi, Peter Pan' (Mü, 2017) and has since published 'Tè Mawon' and the short story collection 'Lanvil emmêlée' (La Volte, 2022 and 2024). His works, including the story 'Ce qui nous échappe' in the collective anthology 'Soleil·s. 12 fictions héliotopiques,' create a Caribbean universe where cyberpunk intersects with the philosophical ideas of Édouard Glissant. Roch's writing embodies an afrofuturistic vision that seeks to expand science fiction into what Glissant terms the 'Tout-Monde.'
