
Michael Wilhoite
Michael Wilhoite is an American football coach and former player, known for his tenure as a linebacker in the NFL. He began his professional career as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2012, where he played until 2016 before joining the Seattle Seahawks for the 2017 season. After transitioning to coaching, Wilhoite served as a special teams assistant for the New Orleans Saints in 2019 and later became the linebackers coach for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2021. In 2023, he returned to the NFL as the linebackers coach for the Denver Broncos, helping to significantly improve the team's defensive performance. Recently, he made headlines after being arrested in Denver on a charge of second-degree assault on a peace officer.
