Michel Charpentier

Michel Charpentier is the president of the association Les Naturalistes de Mayotte, an organization focused on environmental conservation. He has been vocal about the devastating impact of recent wildfires on Mayotte's forests, lamenting the loss of nearly 100 hectares of woodland and describing the situation as a catastrophic aftermath of Cyclone Chido, which struck the island in December 2024.
