Miguel Corrêa is a Brazilian politician and former senator for the Workers' Party (PT) from Minas Gerais. He gained notoriety for his involvement in a controversial campaign strategy that utilized a mobile app to engage influencers, which led to his condemnation for illegal campaign financing practices. Known colloquially as the 'mensalinho do Twitter' case, Corrêa was found guilty of economic abuse and illicit fundraising, resulting in an eight-year inelegibility ruling.
