Mihai Bujor Sion

Mihai Bujor Sion is known as the 'adoptive son' of Ion Iliescu, the former President of Romania, having been cared for by the Iliescus since the early 1970s. Following the death of his biological father, Sion became a significant figure in Iliescu's life, serving as his aide during pivotal moments in Romanian history, including the 1989 Revolution. Throughout his career, Sion held various diplomatic positions, including consul general in Los Angeles and chargé d'affaires in Thailand, showcasing his extensive experience in international relations.
