Mihail Râmniceanu

Mihail Râmniceanu was a notable Romanian civil engineer and diplomat known for his significant contributions to railway construction in Romania, particularly the railway line through the Olt Valley, which was completed between 1896 and 1901. He also designed the iconic Proieni Bridge, recognized for its innovative curved structure, which was built in Paris and transported to Romania.
