Mike Hanrahan

Mike Hanrahan is an accomplished Irish musician and songwriter, best known as a member of the band Stockton’s Wing, which gained popularity in the 1980s with hits like 'A Beautiful Affair.' Growing up in Ennis, Co Clare, Hanrahan developed a passion for music early in life, leading him to write songs and perform at local gigs. Beyond music, he has pursued various interests, including a fellowship at Trinity College focused on dementia and brain health, influenced by his mother's experience with age-related dementia. Hanrahan is currently active in both music and educational projects, advocating for the arts in dementia care.
